Offer apprenticeships

How to offer apprenticeships

Apprenticeship programmes are about producing the next generation of skilled staff and also helping current staff can develop their careers. You can offer an apprenticeship to a new member of staff who you or your training provider recruits or you can train an existing member of staff.

It’s easier than you think.

Charities, social enterprises, co-ops and other voluntary sector organisations interested in running an apprenticeship should get in touch with Fair Train.

Fair Train will match you with a Fair Train training provider in your region. The Fair Train training provider will visit your organisation and discuss what skills would help you to make a difference to the people and communities you provide services to, and the options for training an apprentice.

If you decide to employ an apprentice then the training provider will sort out the training programme for that apprentice, organise the funding for them and provide the training.

Download the free Employers’ pack which will take you through the next steps you need to follow to offer an apprenticeship through Fair Train.
