Partnership announced between
Fair Train and Carley Consult
1st. April 2019
We are delighted to announce our partnership with the multi award-winning, Doncaster based Carley Consult which will be acting on our behalf to champion high-quality work-based learning through Fair Train’s Work Experience Quality Standard accreditation and “how to” guide.
Carley Consult specialises in bid writing, training, procurement and research services and, reflecting Fair Train’s primary purpose, quality assurance. It aims to improve public services by helping quality organisations participate in their delivery, as well as helping the public sector to better engage with its supply base. This demonstrates the excellent match between Carley Consult and Fair Train, as our accredited organisations include many in the public sector, especially through our five-year partnership with Health Education England, through our partnership with Torbay Council focused on workforce development in social care, and through us now working with the Royal College of General Practitioners to promote high quality work experience in primary care.
Mirroring the broad spread of Fair Train’s accredited organisations, Carley Consult’s clients include private companies, charities, housing associations, trade bodies, local authorities and central government. As well as its UK work, Carley Consult has also supported clients in the USA, Netherlands, Republic of Ireland and Saudi Arabia.
Rod Natkiel, Fair Train’s CEO, said:
“It’s really exciting to be working closely with the highly respected Carley Consult, an organisation that shares our values and so enthusiastically supports our goal of substantially increasing the availability and uptake of high-quality work-based learning in all its forms.”
“This synergistic partnership will enable us to offer our services even more widely across the country and with even greater impact, not least because Carley Consult, like us, works with organisations of every type and size in every sector.”
Jim Carley, Carley Consult’s Managing Director, said:
“We welcome this opportunity to work with Fair Train. In a highly competitive market, there is a need for employers and learning/training providers to stand out, and a commitment to Fair Train accreditation shows a serious commitment to quality. We already work with many organisations for whom Fair Train’s Work Experience Quality Standard offers a perfect fit, and we hope that we can encourage many of these to sign up”.
