T-Level Industry Placements at high quality
and having had the chance to network, interact and work with
representatives of organisations large and small in a wide range of sectors.

The T-Level pace is picking up,not least through UCAS' recent announcement recognising T-Levels as university entry qualifications. Reflecting the rapidly growing interest, and in response to a number of requests, we’re delighted to announce the first two of our interactive half-day workshops focused on the industry placements element of T-Levels and what’s needed to deliver them effectively and at high quality.

As “Digital” is one of the first T-Levels coming on stream, these workshops will focus on that and we’re extremely grateful for the support of our very appropriate event host, CISCO UK & IRELAND, which is closely involved in the development and piloting of the Digital T-Levels.

Fair Train’s events are highly respected for their liveliness, variety and pace and the emphasis on delegate interactivity, as well as for the breadth and relevance of the content (take a look at just a few sample feed-back comments below). These workshops will be no different.

We’ll hear from AELP’s specialist T-Level Insights team, setting the scene and bringing us up to date; from Pearson, which is developing the qualification for Digital (production, design and development); from Cisco itself about its experience of pilot industry placements - and a Learning Provider’s perspective on the pilots – and we’ll also explore what “a career in digital” means. A session with British Airways will focus both on progression and never losing sight of the invaluable role that work-based learning plays in embedding essential, life-changing workplace employability skills. Plus lively interactive group sessions exploring topics from mentoring to safeguarding. 

Although the focus will be on Digital, these workshops will be very beneficial to anyone involved or likely to get involved in T-Levels, of which the Work Experience is of course such a major and integral part.

The content of each of these two workshops will be broadly the same (as above) but offering one in the Heathrow area and the other in Didsbury, Manchester, is designed to make it easier for anyone in the UK to attend. On both occasions, the start time will be 1:30pm, with a 5:30pm finish.

Delegate fee for non-accredited organisations: £100

Delegate fee for organisations accredited with Fair Train: £85

Organisations accredited with our Work Experience Quality Standard at Gold Level are entitled to up to three places at the discounted rate of £85; those at Silver, to two places;

those at Bronze, to one place. Any additional places will be at the non-discounted rate.
