From March 2013 to February 2016, when the UKCES commissioned Employer Pathways project came to its scheduled end, Fair Train's Work Experience Quality Standard had resulted in:

Engagements with 10,213 employers and learning providers (target exceeded by 365%)

16,708 work placements (target exceeded by 2739%)

249 graduate placements  (target exceeded by 249%)

15,231 Apprenticeships (target exceeded by 2031%)

Fair Train has been able to gain recognition for commitment to creating the best possible

opportunities for young people from a wide array of organisations. The Work Experience

Quality Standard accreditation provides a nationally recognised standard that ensures that

genuine work experience, as stressed in the Wolf Report, is embedded into organisations’

UPDATE: 2018 - 2019

Based on the data submitted for the year August 2018 - July 2019 by organisations accredited with Fair Train's national Work Experience Quality Standard that they had supported

2,318 learners to gain employment and: 

88.496 learners spent

624,053 days on work experience

7,518 learners progressed to further education

15,548 learners achieved

a qualification

1,403 progressed to a Traineeship,

Internship or Apprenticeship
